Our mission
The Department of Nutritional Sciences is part of the Faculty of Life Sciences at the University of Vienna. It is the only university-based institution of its kind in Austria dealing with human nutrition both in research and education. Consequently, the Department is the primary contact point for all human nutrition, eating behaviour, nutrition education and food science inquiries, particularly for Federal Ministries, health- and food-related academic institutions, non-scientific organisations and the general public.
