Field of Research

Our research group focuses on the mechanisms of hunger and satiety in an approach that combines psychological factors (stress, food craving, restricted eating, visual and sensory food clues) and physiological processes in order to better understand eating behavior at all levels. In addition, our working group is involved in evaluating the nutritional behavior of the Austrian population and examines it from the point of view of nutritient supply and safety aspects.
