3 Masterarbeiten zu vergeben
Wir suchen motivierte Masterstudierende mit großem Interesse an Laborarbeit aus dem Bereich Ernährungswissenschaften, Biologie, Pharmazie und verwandte Gebiete, um den Effekt der Einnahme eines Multivitamin Präparats kombiniert mit einem HIIT (Krafttrainingszirkeltraining) auf chromosomale Stabilitätsparameter in der Mundschleimhaut und im Blut zu untersuchen.
Aufgaben:
- Mitwirkung bei einer Humanstudie (Nutrition and Training Laboratory, Zieglergasse 6, AG Prof König);
- Aufarbeitung von Blutproben und Mundschleimhautproben im Labor, Zellkultur (UZA2, Josef Holaubek Platz 2, AG Prof. Wagner)
Vorkenntnisse im Labor sind erwünscht aber keine Voraussetzung, jedoch hohe Motivation und Lernbereitschaft ist entscheidend und ihr werdet von uns gut eingeschult.
Einschulung Start: ab Anfang März, Humanstudie Start Mitte April 2024

Call for master's theses (3 positions)
We are looking for motivated master students with a strong interest in laboratory work in the field of nutritional sciences, biology, pharmacy and related fields to investigate the effect of taking a multivitamin supplement combined with HIIT (intense resistance circuit training) on chromosomal stability parameters in the oral mucosa and in blood.
Tasks:
- Participation in a human study (Nutrition and Training Laboratory, Zieglergasse 6, working group König)
- Processing of blood samples and oral mucosa samples in the laboratory, cell culture (UZA2, Josef Holaubek Platz 2, working group Wagner)
Previous experience in the laboratory is desirable but not a prerequisite, but a high level of motivation and willingness to learn is crucial and you will receive good training from us.
Enrollment start: from the beginning of March, human study starts mid-April 2024
