Check out our recently published paper from the Vitamin D study of the NutriAging project. This paper is first authored by Agnes Draxler and has been published in the Journal Redox-Biology. This article reports our findings regarding chromosomal instability and oxidative stress in older adults aged between 65 and 85 years who received a combination of a vitamin D supplementation intervention and strength training.

The NutriAging project is an interdisciplinary European collaboration of the Department of Nutritional Sciences (Prof. Wagner), the Centre of Sports Science (Prof. Wessner) and the Department of Medical Biochemistry at the Comenius University Bratislava (Prof. Muchova).

Agnes Draxler is currently finishing her PhD and her research focus is on health biomarkers for healthy aging and disease including chromosomal stability and oxidative stress markers.
